Running dual cases without tying the front and rear together is asking for cracked ears, twisted outputs, and a very bad day on the trail. These HotMetalFab 3/16" plates lock both cases into one rock-solid unit then bolt straight to the factory transfer case mounts. You still run a real skid plate underneath (because this isn’t one).
Who This Is Actually For

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a skid plate?
NO. It’s a structural mount. Run a real skid under it.
Do I need this with a single case?
Only if you’re deleting the factory trans mount. Otherwise the stock crossmember is fine.
How hard is the welding?
If you can box a frame and burn clean beads, you’re overqualified.
Will it fit my Marlin / Trail-Gear / etc. dual setup?
Yes — bolts to the factory case ears on ANY dual-case Toyota setup.
Optional sleeves – worth it?
Hell yes. Makes a flex-free, rubber-isolated mount when you tie them to the frame.
